Terms and Conditions for the Silver Dollar Financial Disaster Relief Scholarship
Silver Dollar Financial’s Disaster Relief Scholarship is open to all currently-enrolled and prospective college students. Applicants must be scheduled to enroll at an accredited United States college or university for the Spring or Fall 2022 semester(s). A transcript is required as proof of the applicant’s academic standing.
The winner of the Silver Dollar Financial Disaster Relief Scholarship will be decided by our selection committee and will not be influenced by outside interests or organizations. We may require additional proof of accuracy regarding the essay provided by the winner before an official selection is finalized. Once our decision is announced, the decision is final and binding.
Silver Dollar Financial is not responsible or liable for any technical issue that prevents the uploading of documents or otherwise causes an application to become exempted from consideration.
Silver Dollar Financial does not and will not discriminate against any potential applicant on the basis of sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, or any other category protected by law. The winner will be selected solely at the discretion of our selection committee.
Data Storage and Privacy
Personal information provided through the application will be used solely for the purpose of this scholarship. No collected data will be shared, sold, distributed, or stored by Silver Dollar Financial. The sole exception to this disclaimer is the featuring of the winner’s name and image on our website.
Announcement of Winner
The Silver Dollar Financial Disaster Relief Scholarship selection committee will announce the winner within 30-60 days of the scholarship submission deadline. This announcement will serve as notification of all applicants’ status. Silver Dollar Financial is not required to individually notify each applicant of their status, though the selection committee may do so at its own discretion.
